This interactive map brings together information about doctors’ offices, health centers, specialists, community organizations, and care teams across our service area that focus on pediatric asthma. By putting these resources in one place, the map aims to make it easier for families to connect with the care and support they need to help children breathe better and live healthier lives.

Believe in a Healthy Newark is a ‘Culture of Health’ Initiative aimed at addressing social determinants of health in order to improve the health outcomes for the residents of Newark.
Kim Gaddy, a community member having over 20 years of environmental justice work experience, as well as a mother of three asthmatic children, founded the South Ward Environmental Alliance. The focus of the organization is environmental justice advocacy within the South Ward of Newark, NJ.
The Asthma Corp Team is a coalition of Rutgers University School of Pharmacy and Public Health students and faculty members. The Asthma Corp Team works diligently to engage the community on Pediatric Asthma concerns and educate parents and caregivers on the topic.
